A Pakistani student models the latest Islamist/Hippie headband

The Pak Tribune, a newspaper out of Islamabad, Pakistan, has published an article by columnist Zaheerul Hassan that blames America's current economic woes on, who else, a Jewish/Zionist conspiracy.

In fact, Hassan blames all the world's problems on the Jews. The article is a mad stew of every Jew-hating conspiracy theory that comfortably simmers in the Muslim world. Hassan even conflates Jewish and Hindu (meaning India) conspiracies.

The English is a bit odd, a Google translation, but the meaning and intent is not lost in translation.

Here's a sample:

Last but not the least Israel factor is the major dynamic in Washington high echelons. Zionist elements always influenced the political, CIA and military top brass and shaped the U.S. regional and global political, economical, defence and other local nature of policies in the larger interest of Israel.

It is worth mentioning here that these 2% Jews inhabitants are controlling 82% Christians of U.S. They are playing their negative role in media, prominent institutions, Intelligence agencies since followers of Judaism has faith of ruling the world by hook and crock at all cost.

It is added here that many Jews pressure groups are operating in America and world over. For example, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is a lobbying group that advocates pro-Israel policies to the Congress and Executive Branch of the United States. The New York Times has described it "the most important organization affecting America's relationship with Israel," while other sources have called it "as one of the most powerful lobbying groups in Washington, DC stating that it "acts as an agent of the Israeli government with a stranglehold on the United States Congress with its power and influence."

Hassan suggests a final solution to the, ahem, Jewish problem:

American community should be mindful that Jews policy makers remained successful in weakening U.S. and Muslim countries economies. In short American think tanks should devise policies get rid of 2% Jews community otherwise be ready for the next disaster.

A few thoughts:

Good news: Hassan is upfront about his Jew-hatred and does not, like so many in the Muslim world and their leftist enablers, claim to be merely anti-Zionist as opposed to vulgar anti-Semites. For this we can be grateful.

Bad news: Pakistan is, by any measure, a failed Islamist state. Grinding poverty and hunger is the norm. Most cities smell like open sewers because, well, they are open sewers.

More bad news: Thousands of Saudi financed Salafist madrassas train and harvest Islamist fanatics whose only desire is to kill and die for Allah. Women are routinely murdered in so-called honor killings, genital mutilation of women is also rampant. Homosexuals are tortured and murdered. There are no Jews in Pakistan because if a Jew set foot on sacred Pakistani soil they would be lynched. And, of course, the Mumbai massacre was planned by Pakistani Islamists with aid from the ISI, Pakistan's fearful security service. Such a state breeds paranoia, intolerance, tyranny and of course malignant Jew-hatred.

Even worse news: Pakistan is Gaza writ large.

Conclusion, with head in hands and a deep sigh: You cannot appease such people. You cannot negotiate with such people. And you must not confer legitimacy on such people.

The only rational course is to recognize the irredeemable evil that is rampant in the Muslim world, and then choose your battlefield.
