Pat Condell is a former BBC comedy writer who was also an outspoken public atheist. For the past few years he has turned his intellectual scorn on the "the mythical religion of peace that no one has ever seen in action."
In the past, Condell was, as he admits in this video, quite critical of Israel, assuming that the Arabs had legitimate gripes and were negotiating in good faith. But Condell now understands that the Arabs are liars--"their wounds are entirely self-inflicted"--and are nothing more than a Jew-hating, genocidal-yearning mob. It's a measure of how distorted is the public dialogue about the Arab war against Israel-Judaism that Condell's short video is making such an impact in the blogosphere. All he does is tell the truth and add a bit of common sense.
But truth and common sense are in short supply these days.
Condell's most important quote: "The Arabs don't hate Jews because of Israel. They hate Israel because of Jews."
