I'm still recovering from Pesach! Oh, I know... it seems so easy. It is... if you CATER! Next year I'm going to call Nir Weinblut at La Gondola in Beverly Hills and have Pesach catered. People don't know how much work it is to make fresh chicken soup! Sure, I could make it from the can but how much salt can my ankles take?

On top of everything else, I'm now a co-host on a new show: "James and Sunda" on Jewish Life Television. I work with a bunch of Jewish men so you know what this means: One has a stomach ache, one has a headache, and one doesn't believe his coffee cup is "clean enough" and needs to see it rinsed. Other than that... it's a great show!

It comes on Thursday nights at 7 and 10 on Time Warner Cable and Direct TV. Now my friends from New Jersey are complaining that it should be on Cablevision and I should do something about it.

Yeah, I'm going to contact Phil Blazer and DEMAND that New Jersey gets to see the show after they watch "Jersey Shore" on MTV!

Speaking of Jersey... I'll be on Oxygen, soon. Taping next week for a new show about New Jersey. At least women will be running the joint so I won't have to worry about my ailing Jewish male co-workers! JOKE! I love all of them.

"James and Sunda" is a great show! James Harris, a comedian from the Laugh Factory is my co-host and we've had many guests appear who have worked with so many famous people. Tom Dreesen opened for Frank Sinatra for 14 years and had stories about Sammy Davis, Jr. Allen Stephens started with Sam Kinison and worked with Dave Letterman and Jay Leno back in the day at the Comedy Store in Hollywood. Charles Fleisher is the voice of "Roger Rabbit" and starred in "Funny People" and the Zodiac.

It's been the show of shows! First, my Jewish mother sues me in law and then I land a gig on a Jewish network! It doesn't get better or odder than that. Case in point: Viewers and fans constantly send Tweets and e-mails asking ME for mother in law advice!

And I give great advice: Keep your mouth shut and say YES to everything!

While you're at it... say YES to Virtual Jerusalem where 'Hoodzpah! Is the only blog written by a Black Jew from Jersey with material that can provide a lifetime of sitcoms! VJ is a great way to stay in touch with Israel and feel homesick for it. Hopefully, one day my editor will send me so I can blog from Haifa. (Hint!) I guarantee there are mother in law stories in Israel that can top my story by a falafel!

Thank you for your patience as I've been behind a bit on this blog but between Pesach, my Uncle Junie passing, and the "James and Sunda Show", I'm happy to be back... telling you like it is and like it was!
