"Skool's out for Sunda!"

School's out and I'm out of my mind! Instead of the end of year party it's off to Disneyland and then preparing to leave for New York.sunda croonquist

I don't know if I'll make it...I have to travel with two kids, two cats and prepare a short speech as I'm being honored by the mayor of Paterson... for what?  How could you even ask?  My contribution to entertainment!

Lou Costello is the only other comedian to come out of Paterson and as we say in Jersey: "Not for nothin"...  but those footsteps are hard to follow.

Lou Costello was indeed a true legend. It's an honor to be from the same hometown although truth be told, I may need a bulletproof dress based on the news reports!

Is it true or is it just the media depicting all the bad and none of the good when it comes to Paterson, New Jersey?  I have to wonder as I had so many great times, so many great hot dogs "all the way" and so many great friends that I'm still close with today.

I look forward to going back and who knows. Maybe I'll run for mayor one day, but right now I'm definitely running out of school for the summer!  It takes way too much energy and this morning was no exception.

I had to bring iced blended drinks to three separate classes as none of the moms could do it, as they are all busy. Here's the total menu:  31 cups of chocolate, 34 vanillas, 3 soy chocolate and 2 soy vanillas.

The woman at the Coffee Bean thought I was a prank call when I placed this order!  I needed a cart to get it from the school garage to the classroom and I got there exactly on time!

As the school assembly was about to begin this was not an ideal time for a sugar rush and the kids made me nervous with all the noise.  I just wanted to yell:  "Everybody shut up!" but that would have been inappropriate.  I listen to noise every time I perform!

Sometimes you need a break and that's the break I'm taking starting right now as I finish wishing all my mom/dad VJ readers an easy summer as before you know it...we'll be right back with the homework, the lost book-bags, the list goes on.  I would like to give a special thanks to Aviva's friend, Ashton who gave me a turtle tank.  I know I don't need it but sometimes you can't say no to a cute kid...especially when he looks at you and whispers:  "This is a good tank, it has disposable filters!"

As I look at this empty turtle tank, I'm thinking: Thank G-d it's not the crayfish from 3rd grade!  The cats put them in crayfish heaven!

Off to Disneyland to have fun in the sun! Stay tuned to VJ where we tell you like it is and like it was.  Turtle tank anybody?
