Starlight, a fashion show for religious women, hosted last Wednesday a full house of 150 religious women from all over Israel, who stepped out for an evening of high fashion and elegant ambiance at Beit Tovei Ha'ir, a protected living residence in Jerusalem's Geulah neighborhood.

The first-of-its-kind fashion show featured over 60 outfits from the trendiest boutiques in Israel and hosted religious women of all ages.fashion show

The attendees were greeted by pastry and coffee while enjoying musical accompaniment. The fashion show followed, featuring real women from the religious community on the runway, who showed off the outfits while accompanied by a medley of lively Jewish music.

One of the most touching moments of the evening came near the close, when the models greeted and embraced the elderly residents of Beit Tovei Ha'ir, who in turn presented them with flower bouquets. Arm in arm, they then walked down the runway together.

Following the formal presentation, the fashion show turned into an interactive shopping experience, where the women were given the opportunity to buy dresses and submit orders from the represented boutique owners.

"This was not only a fun and beautiful evening, it was emotional too," said Racheli Weinstock from Beitar, who attended the Starlight show with her sisters from Har Nof and Beit Shemesh. "Seeing the women from Tovei Ha'ir and the models hugging brought tears to my eyes. I'm so glad I made the trip!"
