Unconfirmed reports state that Oscar winner Natalie Portman and fiancee Benjamin Millepied's have named their son "Alef."

(Not to be confused with Alf, the friendly alien.)

Alef, of course, is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. This is not an entirely surprising choice for Portman, a native Israeli who has stated in the past that she plans to raise her children Jewish.

The Israeli TV show, "Good Evening with Guy Pines," (pronounced Guy Penis) was the first to reveal that the baby, who was born in June, was named Alef. No statement has yet been made from Portman's camp on the accuracy of this report.
