Sarah Silverman Tweets Israeli Politics Follow Virtual Jerusalem on and Date Posted: 2012-11-09 19:36:40
After being an avid and somewhat outspoken supporter of President Obama and the Democratic Party, Jewish comedian Sarah Silverman is moving on to her next target -- Israeli politics. Last night, Silverman tweeted to her followers her personal endorsement for the upcoming election in Israel, which will take place this coming January. Silverman urged Israeli voters to cast their ballots for the left-wing Meretz Party and the Green Movement. Chairman of Meretz, Zehava Galon, replied and congratulated Silverman on Obama's victory. "I was really excited," Galon told the Israeli website Mako. "The same day Obama is elected Silverman thought that Meretz is the sane and liberal alternative and that made me really happy." Mako also reports that Silverman's sister, Susan, a Reform rabbi who lives in Jerusalem, is friends with Galon, although Galon has never met Sarah. "She's amazing," Galon added, "she is an opinion leader and I think it's cool." The tweet is no longer available on Silverman's Twitter page for an unknown reason, but when it was live it was quoted numerous times.via jta.org

In Isaiah 41:18-20, the prophet\'s talk of a future restoration of Israel coincides with an occurrence in modern Israel - the construction of a vast irrigation system to improve farming. The lack of available water, including rain, is one reason why Israel had been a desolate, unproductive land during much of the past 2000 years. But, during the 1900s, when many Jews returned to their ancient homeland, they built a network of irrigation systems. And during the past century, more than 200 million trees have been planted in Israel.
Here is Isaiah 41:18-20
I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs. I will put in the desert the cedar and the acacia, the myrtle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland, the fir and the cypress together, so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.
In Zechariah 8:7-8, the prophet said God would bring the Jews back from the east and the west to their homeland (Israel) and that they would be able to live in the city of Jerusalem again. This prophecy has been fulfilled more than once. About 2600 years ago, Babylon destroyed Jerusalem and took many Jews as captives to Babylon. But many Jews later returned from Babylon. The Jews rebuilt Jerusalem but the city was destroyed about 1900 years ago by the Romans. The Romans killed more than 1 million Jews and forced many more into exile. The Jews did not have control of Jerusalem again until 1967 when the Jews recaptured the city during the Six Day War.
Israel: Apple of God’s eye. Jerusalem: navel of the earth. Future city were the Creator The King of Kings and Lord of Lord’s will dwell.
Those foolish who speak and fight against the Jews are fighting against God Himself, the creator, who came to to the world in human flesh and Jewish, Himself Jesus Christ God Himself in Jewish flesh. The world has bene blessed thru the Jews, Salvation Jesus said is thru the Jews.

Sarah Silverman- shame on you!
You are degrading your own people and are supporting Obama, who not only hates Israel, but also doesn\'t have much love for USA.
You forgot what happened to Jewish people in Germany, who thought of themselves that they are Germans. They found out very fast that they are first Jews and no other countries wanted accept them when they tried to escape Nazi Germany. They had no place to go.
You fool, do not understand that if there will be no Israel, pretty soon there will be no more Jewish people (including you, no matter which party you support)
The history repeat itself. What happened in Germany can happen here in USA.
May HaShem deal with you according to His justice.

Ms. Silverman has starred in the left-wing Bay-Area Jewish magazine, Tikkun. Not surprisingly Tikkun was full of appreciation for Ms. Silverman’s musical stand-up targeting decent, conservative supporters of Israel.
People like the above mentioned (Ms. Silverman and the like) are naive if not right out fools.

This girl thinks anything is fodder for comedy, has had a really tragic upbringing that she makes fun of, so its not surprising that her politics would throw the country that stands for her heritage under the bus
