Demi Moore, the 47-year-old actress who is married to Ashton Kutcher posted a Twitter photo this weekend showing her and 32-year-old
Ashton holding hands after they completed a fast to mark Yom Kippur.
She tweeted: "Had a wonderful day with hubby and my baby girl Ru! Finished our fast for Yom Kippur and now we are ready for food!!"
She later posted another photo of the couple, accompanied by a tweet that said: "We broke our fast at Applebees!! Now back to work for me."
After one of her followers asked if she was Jewish, she tweeted in reply that she was not Jewish but was a student of Kabbalah.
Both Moore and Kutcher are avid Kabbalah students who often celebrate the Jewish holidays with Madonna who is their close friend. The couple has also visited Israel numerous times. Last August, Ashton Kutcher was in Israel to attend the birthday celebration for the founder of the Kabbalah Center in Jerusalem, making sure to visit the Kotel before he headed back to the States.
In other non-Jewish-celebrities-who-celebrate-Jewish-holidays news, rumor has it that this weekend, aside from failing her scheduled drug test, Lindsay Lohan attended a Yom Kippur ceremony alongside rumored girlfriend, ex-IDF soldier, Eilat Anschel.
