Tayglach

Thanks to Minette Greenman, who will always be loved as a beloved grandmother!

Ingredients:

6 eggs
3/1/2 cups flour (about)
3 tbspns. oil
2 tspns lemon extract
2 tspns baking powder
ginger
1 lb. honey
1 – 1/1/2 cups sugar

Instructions:

Beat egg, add oil, lemon extract, baking powder, ginger. Add enough flour to handle. Sprinkle flour on board and knead dough. Form into tayglach. Insert either nuts or raisons. Cook honey (ginger) and sugar until boiling. Add tayglach. Turn flame low and let cook. Turn occasionally when they begin to brown. Add boiling water when turned off.
