Easy Rice Pudding

Thanks to Minette Greenman, who will always be loved as a beloved grandmother!

1 cup packed pre-cooked rice
1½ cups each water and milk
¼ c. sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
½ cup seedless raisins (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions: Combine ingredients in a saucepan and stir continuously until the mixture boils. Turn heat down to warm cover and allow to stand 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool. Serve with cream or any desired sauce.
