Down Kugel
Thanks to Minette Greenman,
who will always be loved as a beloved grandmother!
Cake:
1 pound egg noodles (cooked)
1 cup sour cream
½ cup granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 cup cottage cheese (creamed)
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup raisin
Glaze:
½ cup butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup whole pecans
Directions: Melt the butter or margarine in a 13*9-inch pan. Sprinkle
the brown sugar evenly over the butter. Press the shelled pecans
into the brown sugar. Mix noodles and other ingredients well. Pour
over the pecans. Bake 1 hour in a 350F oven. When done let casserole
cool and then turn oven on a plate.
