Apricot Raisin Sauce for Tongue

Thanks to Minette Greenman, who will always be loved as a beloved grandmother!

1 large onion, diced fine
¾ cup white raisins
1 tablespoon lemon juice
12 oz jar apricot preserves
pinch of salt

Directions:
Combine all ingredients and cook over low heat until raisins are plumped and mixture is thick. Serve hot on sliced tongue.
