Meatballs and Cabbage in Sweet and Sour Sauce

Thanks to Minette Greenman, who will always be loved as a beloved grandmother!

Make the meatball mixture:
(You can double the amount of meatballs but with same amount of sauce)
1pkg. hamburger meat
1 egg

Mix together:
crumbs or matzah meal
salt, pepper, garlic powder

Sauce:
1 large can tomato paste
Mix together:
1½ cans of water
4 T lemon juice concentrate
5T sugar

Directions: Bring sauce to a boil. Then form balls from meatball mixture and cook in the sauce. When meatballs have been cooking for a while and are kind of firm, cut or shred in about half a cabbage. Cook until cabbage is soft and meatballs are done. (About 1½ hrs.).
