Apple Pie with Graham Cracker

Thanks to Minette Greenman, who will always be loved as a beloved grandmother!

Ingredients:

Graham crust
5/1/2 c. sliced apples
1 tbs. lemon juice (omit if apples are tart)
¾ c. sugar
½ c. br. sugar
3/1/2 cups flour
¼ tsp. salt
½ tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. margarine

Directions: Preheat oven to 375F. Beat egg yolk. Brush crust with yolk and bake until light brown (about 5 min.)

Combine and mix well and put into crust: 5/1/2 c. sliced apples, 1 tbs. lemon juice, ½ c. sugar, ¼ c. brown sugar, 3 tbs flour, ¼ tsp. salt, ½ tsp. cinnamon, and ¼ tsp. nutmeg.

Combine and mix ¾ c. flour, 1/3 c. margarine, ¼ c. sugar, and ¼ c. brown sugar (mixed with a fork until crumbly). Sprinkle evenly over apples. Bake until topping is golden and filling is bubbly (about 50 min).
