Cucumber
and Onion Salad

2/3 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar
¼ c. sugar
¼ c. oil
salt, pepper, to taste
1 cucumber peeled, scored lengthwise, thinly sliced
1 small onion peeled, thinly sliced, separated into strips.
Directions: Mix water and vinegar in large bowl. Stir in sugar until
dissolved. Stir in oil, salt and pepper. Add cucumber and onion.
Mix well. Cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours.
