More than 80 Israeli soldiers and reservists have signed a petition of support for a military commander who was filmed assaulting a Danish pro-Palestinian activist. Lieutenant Colonel Shalom Eisner was suspended after the video emerged showing him hitting Andreas Ias in the face with an M16 rifle as he tried to disperse a demonstration.

Good on you mate! If it had been me as the soldier, this guy would have been in handcuffs that quick, his head would spin.
I applaude Shalom Eisner and stand behind him 100%.
I served years in the Australian defence forces and know how he must have felt to come to the decision to retaliate.
Again, \"Good on you mate!\"
Where is the petition, and I\'ll sign it!
Shalom,
Andy (Gallagher)

Shalom Eisner took absolutely justified action against histerical, selfinflated \"protestors\". They do not have any reason to be there on the first place and should not behave like drunk teenagers. Keep up good work, soldier.
Shalom.
