You kids have a way of talking to God straight from the heart. You just say
what's on your mind. In fact, God especially listens to children's prayers
because they come from such a sincere and honest place.
I'd like to share some thoughts that kids have wondered and expressed to
God. Some of them are funny, some are sad , some are wise, and some will
touch your heart.

My mother always tells this story of when I was two and a half and she said
that I was so delicious that she was going to eat me. To which I replied, "
You can't eat me cos God's inside of me!"
O.K. Here are some short conversations children have had with God or about God:
Where does God take my 'neshama' ( soul ) for safekeeping at night? And when does He return it to me, before I wake up or after?
(Rachel, age 5)
Dear God,
Can you really make anything happen? Can you arrange for me to have a dog even if Daddy doesn't let us?
( David, age 6)
Abba, are there toys in heaven?
(Shachar,age 4)
Where was I before I was born?
(Amichai, age 4)
Mom,
Princess Diana is in Gan Eden, only her skin is buried underground, but it's going to be hard for her to sit up now that she died.
(Hodaya, age 4)
Dear God,
Do you also have to go to school every day?
(Nethanel, age 6)
Dear God,
My big brother says he's very smart. Maybe you could use his help up there.
(Guy, age 5)
Dear God,
Instead of making people die and having to make new ones, why don't you just hang on to the people you've already got here.
(Sam, age 6)
Dear God,
You must have a real special set of magic markers to paint such a good rainbow in the sky.
(Shai, age 6)
